NHE welcomes visitors and new members at any time of the year. All monthly meetings are open to anyone who wishes to come. Membership is required to attend fieldtrips and special events (Spelling Bee, Promotion Night, Presidential Physical Fitness, etc.) New members should agree with our statement of faith, operating policy, and code of conduct for both parents and children. In addition, new members must agree to serve the group in a supporting service task.

The best way to learn what NHE is all about is to attend a monthly meeting.  Monthly meetings are to be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Orlando Chinese Evangelical Church on 17-92 near Dog Track road. From 7-9 pm (Formerly Northland Annex)

August 26, 2008 - Get to Know NHE

September 23, 2008 - Different Strokes for Different Folks. Discovering teaching and learning styles.

October 28, 2008 - Read all About it. Raising a contagious Reader.

November 14, 2008 - Geography / History fair - This meeting will be held at the Seminole Community Church, 5070 Orange Blvd, Sanford,      

                           Florida (N of SR46).

December 22, 2008 - No Meeting.

Spring 2009

January 27, 2009 - Back in the Saddle Agian. Come and get encouraged to start the new year right. 

February 24, 2009 - Because I Said So. Lets laugh while we get encouraged in how to develope better relationships 

                                 with our husbands and our children.

March 24, 2009 - Knowledge is Power. Review curriculumn and portfolios  brought in by NHE meeting cordinator. 

April 28, 2009 - Science Fair 

May 26, 2009 - Wrap it Up. Gather together for a pot luck while we relive the highs and lows of our homeschooling year. 

Nursing babies are welcome at the regular monthly meetings.  Children are invited to join us for the History and Science Fairs.

The annual fee for new members is $48, which includes membership to the FPEA.
