NHE began in August of 1995, when five homeschool families gathered together for the first meeting. NHE originally began and was launched from Northland Home Educators, a ministry of Northland, a Church Distributed. By the 2003-2004 school year, NHE had grown to 75 member families, and became incorporated as a Florida not for profit corporation, and received its approval from the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization.

Our monthly meetings are to be held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Orlando Chinese Evangelical Church on 17-92 near Dog Track road. (Formerly Northland Annex) Click here for directions.

NHE provides many opportunities and services to its members including:

Field trips, history and science fairs, monthly meetings, FPEA membership, a Bible Study for moms, high school preparation seminars, teacher training, an annual calendar of events, prayer chain, meals ministry, and used book sale.
